The call:

Mayworks Mail Art

What can you say about “labour” and “work”? If a picture is worth a thousand words – maybe you’d like to put your thoughts down on a 5″x 7″ postcard and mail to Ed Varney for a Mayworks Mail Art Exhibition on Vancouver Island.

We are planning a few collage workshops in the Downtown Eastside to facilitate creating mail art on this theme.

Our volunteers arrive with materials, glue, scissors and time to hang out while we “create community through art.”

If you’d like to participate, contact us.

More information at: http://communityarts.ning.com/events/mail-art-deadline

and we’ll add any open workshops there when they’re finalized.

Deadline for postmark is April 1.
